About Matt Carey

Hello, I am Matt Carey, and I'm so glad that you decided to stop and connect with The Silva Method. I'm pleased that you want to know if you and I will be a good fit and be able to work together in changing the limiting beliefs that are keeping you from living your best life.

Since this is the first thing you'll read that will help you decide if you want to work with me, I want to start by saying that it is a pleasure to meet you.

Just by you being here, we are already connecting energetically. I want you to know that with me, you will always be supported and guided along your path to a better understanding of who you are and what your role is in this life. I look forward to working with you and helping you along your own journey, so that you can discover your unlimited potential!

I first discovered The Silva Method in 1987. I was working as a Peer Counselor at the Office of Veterans Affairs at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Another counselor came in one morning and dropped a small blue book on my desk (The Silva Mind Control Method), saying, "You have to read this book, then take this class." I read the book 3 or 4 times, then started doing the practices on my own. Due to my circumstances at that time, I didn't think that I could afford to attend the training. I started incorporating the Silva Methods into my life. I started seeing changes in my demeanor. I became calmer and more self-assured. I started trusting myself and the decisions I was making. Jump forward  a few years, and I was sitting in the living room rereading the book. My wife Andrea came in, and I said, "Honey, I need to find where they offer this training, so I can take it." She wanted to know what "it" was, so I showed her "The Silva Mind Control Method." Andrea reminded me that she was a Silva graduate from 1974, and she had just recently found a card with her graduate ID number. Two months later, we were in Plantation, Florida, with Silva Instructor Keith Harmeyer, and my journey to becoming a Silva Method Instructor began. Now, I am honored to help you start your journey to a better and better life.
